AK-47 Blank Firing Adapter (BFA). These are original Polish surplus BFA's for the AK-47 in 7.62x39. BFA is predrilled to work with most surplus blanks. To install, simply remove the muzzle device currently on your AK and thread on. BFA's can easily be painted. Price is per piece.

CHECK FIRED BRASS FOR DAMAGE. IF THE BRASS IS MANGLED, THE APERTURE IS TOO TIGHT AND NEEDS TO BE OPENED. IF YOU ARE UNSURE, ASK THE MANUFACTURER OF YOUR BLANKS WHAT SIZE HOLE HE RECOMMENDS! FAILURE TO USE THE CORRECT DIAMETER HOLE CAN RESULT IN SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY AND / OR DAMAGE TO YOUR RIFLE!

NEW

$15.00
"Hollywood" M-14 Blank Adapter (BFA) for M14 / M1A Rifles. These are "Hollywood" BFAs and can not be seen when installed. Simply loosen the set screw on the front of the site base, remove the castle nut, remove the flashider, inset the adapter into the flashider (narrow end out) and reassemble. Prices are for one piece or for a set of two.

We have two stock aperture sizes instock: .110 and .150. The first stock aperture size on this bfa is 0.110 which should work with the weaker Austrian L31A1 blanks in most rifles. It will also work as a pilot hole to drill them out for more powerful blank loads (primarily European military .308 blanks). It is important to note that even though they use same nomenclature designation, there can be a difference in power based on country of origin. For example, British Radway Green L31A1 blanks (headstamp RG) are hotter than Austrian L31A1 (headstamp HP). For most blanks, you will need to enlarge the hole. This is very important!

The second stock size we have is .150. This works with some of the hotter Euro blanks and serves as a pilot hole to be drilled out for hotter blanks such as Joe Swanson and USGI. You must pay attention to this. USGI blanks (especially the bottle nose) and Joe Swanson Hot blanks will require a larger hole than the European blanks and over .150. See the links page for blanks vendors to correspond with the adapters below. Flash hider not included. Please specify which starting aperture you would like when you order!

Guidelines for Drilling Out Blank Adapters:
Swanson: (.187)
USGI Blanks: (.171)

Radway L31A1 Blanks: (.136)
Austrian L31A1 Blanks: (.110)

*These sizes work in both semi and full auto in a USGI H&R M14. They may take some tweaking for your rifle. Speak with the manufacturer of your blanks to get a ballpark starting range! This information is included as a guide. We are not responsible for damaged weapons or body parts!

"Hollywood" M-16 Blank Adapter (BFA) for M16 / AR15 Rifles. These are "Hollywood" BFAs and can not be seen when installed. Simply remove the flash hider and drop in the adapter with the narrow end facing the out towards the end of the flash hider and the broad end against the base of the muzzle. Prices are for one piece or for a set of two. If buying a set, you can mix sizes.

We make three different sizes for these blank adapters. When you place the order, you MUST specify which size BFA's you would like.
USGI blanks and Euro surplus are the weakest blanks and use the smallest aperture. LAM blanks are a "mid-grade" blank with a loud retort, but not as loud and not as much flash as the Swanson Hot blanks. See the links page for blanks vendors to correspond with the adapters below. Flash hider not included.

Available in three sizes:
USGI for use with M200/M200A1 blanks (aperture .080)
LAM for use with Atlantic Wall "LAM" mid-power blanks (.125)
HOT for use with Swanson's Motion Picture Blanks (aperture .175)
*We also have some BFA's for the M-16 that do not have a hole drilled in them. If you have an odd project, or SBR that will not run and needs a tighter hole, this may be the solution, but be careful!

M-16 BFA Magazine Tilt Adapter. As many of you have learned first hand, blank adapting M-16's and AR-15's can be sometimes be a little tricky. In many situations, the problem has to do with short casings and the angle on the rounds leaving magazine. The test / solution for this has always been to put forward and upward pressure on the magazine while firing. In many cases this eliminated the problem, but now you have to constantly have a hand on the magazine. This tilt adapter is the permanent solution to this problem. It fits securely under the pistol grip and has tabs to hold onto the trigger guard. The prong in the magazine well puts forward pressure on the magazine ensuring proper alignment. These are ready to be painted. Mags may fit tight and some magwells may need light sanding inside to work properly.
