Field Gear One of a Kind - One Of A Kind

Field Gear One of a Kind

  • Mosquito Net. These nets are for use with cots. This style of net was introduced by the Vietnam War, so even though these nets are new (which is good. New means no holes!), they are the "correct style." We do not have the four end poles to hold the net up, but they are out there or you can tie the corners up. 1lb 12oz Learn More

  • This is one of the very rare, 1st edition poncho liners in OD Green. They are not dated, but they were made in 1962 to test the feasibility of the concept of the poncho liners. There were initially issued to SF and other "special" units though later in the war you see some with line infantry here and there. This particular liner is guaranteed 100% authentic and has been in my collection for 15+ years. It is in overall VG+ used condition. It has some missing ties and a few very small holes as well as some discoloration. That being said, these liners are extremely rare and hard to find and this is actually considered nice condition for them. Learn More

  • USMC M-1961 Pistol Belt. This is the standard pistol belt as used by the USMC with the M-61 series of gear. The belts feature a female snap that allows the M-61 pouches to be attached. These Belts are original surplus items and are in G/VG- used condition. They may have some fraying etc but are in serviceable condition. Original belts have become very hard to find. Belts measure 42" let out. We have three available and will ship them on a best condition ships first basis. Learn More

  • This is one of the ultra rare "short" M-56 Pouches made for use with the 20rd M16 magazines. These pouches are identical to the standard M-56 Universal Ammunition Pouch except for their height. The pouches were made for a brief period in 1968 to address the difficulty in using the taller pouches with the shorter magazines. The production window was limited as the Army was introducing the M67 short pouches at the same time which is why these are so hard to come by now. Marked as Ammunition Pouch M16-A1 this pouch is in overall VG used condition with some discoloration from wear. Pouch is complete with all straps, snaps and buckle. The buckle on the suspender strap is complete (in the photo it looks like the gate to the snap is missing but it is not). One pouch only. • This is a great item. Excellent to unissued condition M9A2 Chemical Agent Detector Kit. Last date on the kit is 1957. This is a special device for sampling and testing ambient air for gases. Soldier had to inject the air samples inside several tubes holding a reactive solution that would reveal the exact nature of the agent. Learn More
