Terms of Service

Ordering / Purchases

Please email or call if you have any questions or would like to check on the availability of certain items. If we are unable to answer the phone, please leave a message or send us an email. If we are out of an item, or there is something special that you are looking for, please let us know. We will be happy to keep a "want list" for you and call you when we find your item.

Please note that in person visits to our office warehouse are by appointment only. I also work as a firefighter and every third day I am on shift for 24 hours. I cannot help it if you drive from out of town on a day that I am on shift and there is no one to meet you at the office!

Method Of Payment:

Credit Card

We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. Minimum order is $15.00.

PayPal

If PayPal is the only way that you can pay, you can add items to your cart to get a total with shipping and then send the amount to sales@mooremilitaria.com. You need to check with us BEFORE sending the payment and DO NOT reference any of the items in PayPal. They have key words they do not like and will block the purchase / lock the account. If we do not get our money, you do not get your items. 

Certified Funds

Certified funds such as cashier's checks and money orders are welcome. Please call or email for a complete price with shipping. If paying by International Money Order, please add $3 for handling fees charged by the Bank to handle foreign issued items. When you mail in your payment, please include a note with your name, address, and a list of the items ordered to avoid confusion.

Western Union & Bank Wire Transfers

For international customers without a credit card, you can pay by Western Union. You can go to WesternUnion.com to locate a branch near you. When you are ready to place an order, please email us for a complete price with shipping. When you receive the complete quote back, you can send the payment to William T. Moore III and email us with the control number. We will then pick up the funds and ship your items. Due to the time it takes to physically get the WU payment at the branch and the distance to a branch from our store, we will not accept WU payment for orders less than $100 before shipping.

If you would like to pay with a bank wire transfer, please email us. We will give you a total including shipping as well as the bank information for the transfer. The wire must be sent in USD and any fees charged by your bank need to be in addition to the funds sent. There is a $25 fee for wire transfers on our end (this fee is charged by our bank) so that will be added to the total. Please note that wire transfers usually take 3 to 4 days to show as received, so there will be a delay in shipping the order. We do not accept bank wire transfers for orders under $500.00 USD.

* Texas residents must add 6.75% sales tax to orders. All prices are subject to change without notice.

Restricted Items & Customs

* Restricted International Items: We cannot be certain of customs regulations of the many countries that we ship to. If you order an item that is in violation of your countries' customs regulations we are not responsible if it is seized. Please check with your local authorities BEFORE ordering questionable items such as helmets, flak vests, bayonets, etc.

* Customs Declarations: The customer is responsible for paying any and all customs duties, fees, or tariffs charged by their country. We will not falsify or understate the value of a package on your customs paperwork, nor will we mark the form as a "Gift" to avoid payment of duties. There is a 25% restocking fee plus return shipping to us (charged by customs) on international orders if the customer refuses the items at customs due to the taxes levied. It is your responsibility to be aware of any potential duties that you may owe.

* Restricted States in the US: State regulations regarding high capacity magazines, knives / bayonets, reproduction ordnance, etc. are noted in the item description. We will not ship restricted items to listed states. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that their state has no regulations against the items they order if it is not specifically listed.

NOS: New Old Stock.
Excellent: Good, Strong Color, Minimal Wear
Very Good: Light Wear, Light Soiling, Some Fading, No Major Frays, Holes, or Rips
Good: Completely Serviceable, May Have Repairs, be missing straps or snaps, and Soiling.

Shipping Rates

DOMESTIC ORDERS are typically shipped via UPS Ground . Prioirty Mail which usually takes from 2 to 5 days depending on your state. Please provide an email address, phone number, and let us know if the shipping address is a business or residence. The price of shipping is based on the actual weight of the package to your zip code. If you need the items faster, please let us know as we have 2nd Day Service and Next Day Service available.

PLEASE NOTE USPS SHIPPING TIMES ARE ESTIMATES. Their plug ins show Priority as 2 day service but it rarely is that fast.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS are shipped US Postal Service Express Mail or Global Priority Mail. Both of these services have tracking, but ONLY EXPRESS can be insured. It also cannot be insured for any value over what is listed on the customs form. Once the package leave the US we have no way to assure delivery and it is at your own assumed risk if the package does not arrive.

If a customer insists on a less expensive shipping method, we can ship 1st Class Mail (economy) on packages weighing under 4 pounds. However, due to the transit time (sometimes 30 days +), increased chance of loss, and lack of insurance / tracking, we will not be responsible for ensuring delivery. If you request this form of shipping, it is at your own risk and you assume responsibility for the package if it does not arrive.

All orders are packed and shipped as quicky as possible. Most orders actually ship the same day that they are received if I am not on shift. Any outside of this are usually within 2 days Occasionally we are out of an item or need something to complete a package and it may take a week or so to get it all togetjer but we do our best to match all of the items for wear, look etc..You will only be charged for actual postage / shipping costs.

Returns / Exchanges

If you are not completely satisfied, please notify us and we will make every effort to "make it right". Any return or exchange must be accompanied by the sales receipt or a copy. You must include a note with your return or exchange that clearly tells us what you would like us to do (refund, exchange for a different size, etc)

Returns

If you wish to return an item, you have 10 days from receipt of your order to return the goods. Items sent in for return must be in the same condition that they were shipped to you. If the return is due an error on our part, a full refund will be made. If the items are being returned for any other reason, a refund less shipping will calculated within the first 10 days. Returns initiated between 11 days and 30 days are subject to a 25% restocking fee minus shipping. Absolutely no refunds or exchanges will be made after 30 days. Refunds will be made in the same manner as the goods were paid for. We cannot refund a different card or manner of payment. If you paid with your Visa, the refund will be made to that card. If you paid via PayPal, refund will be by PayPal, etc. 

Exchanges

Please note that same condition as it was received means as sent. If you break an item through use or rough manipulation it will not be covered. Please remember that most of our items are 40 plus years old and even if unissued are not as strong as newly made items due to natural fiber breakdown and time. We will not accept items for refund or exchange if they have been washed, are covered in pet hair, smell of cigarette smoke, etc.

For exchanges, you have 10 days from receipt of your order to return the goods. Items sent in for exchange must be in the same condition that they were shipped to you. If you are returning the item as a result of a mistake that we have made in packing the order, we will gladly pick up the shipping. If you are returning the item because you ordered the wrong size or would like to exchange for a different size, you will be responsible for the shipping on your exchanged items. If you paid by credit card, we will charge the return shipping to the card on file. If you paid by MO, please include funds for return shipping with the item you are returning for exchange.
