ease note that original jungle fatigue coats are cut and sewn oversized (by about 5 inches in the chest over the size on the label) to allow for loose wear and ventilation in a tropical environment. Our reproductions are cut the same way. If you want them to fit loose / baggy order your regular size. If you want them to be more form fitting, you may need to order down a size. For example, a S coat states 37" on the label, but actually measures a 42." A M coat states 41" on the label, but actually measures a 46." A large states 45" but measures a 51". The label on an XL states up to a 49" but they measure out to 56". The XXL "Special Measure" are marked 49" and up, but they actually measure out to a 58" chest. On some of the patterns, we have a limited stock of oversized coats that actually measure 62" at the chest, so they are 3XL.Once you wash and dry them on "regular" you will lose about an inch in the chest. Waist sizes on pants are true.
