Details
This is a hard to find USMC Mitchell Pattern Shelter Half. Standard issue to Marines through the 1950's and 1960's, these are commonly seen rolled on top of the M-1941 Haversack. 1953 manufacture date. Overall condition is VG used. This shelter has a few small holes and two small repairs (see red patches on inside). There is a little edge fraying as well. The white marks are dust from the floor. Overall solid used condition and still serviceable. This shelter half matches the other available and would make a nice set.
