This is the USMC M-67 Combat Field Pack. In 1968 the Marines made M-41 Haversacks in Nylon in an attempt to "modernize" their load carrying capacity. They soon realized this was not enough and developed the M67 Combat Field Pack as a replacement Haversack / Rucksack. The Pack attaches to the upper clips on the USMC M-67 Suspenders. These suspenders are extremely rare, but the pack will also connect to a pair of Army M-67 Suspenders. This pack is 1970 dated and is in VG++ to EXC- condition. It shows very little use but has lost the blackening on the snaps and has some kind of small stain or glue mark on the flap. Some of it came off, but I did not want to work it too much cleaning it up. These have become much harder to find and would be a great addition to your collection.
