Band, Helmet, Camouflage. These are the standard issued Elastic Helmet Band as used by the US ARMY during the Vietnam War. Marked "Band, Helmet, Camouflage - US". We found a small a few bundles of originals digging around in a warehouse and have not had any in quite some time. They are different from the later LC-1 versions as the elastic has a smooth finish. These have factory applied cat eyes on the side opposite of the ink stamp. They can be worn cat eyes out for training OR flipped cat eyes against the helmet. If you want, the cat eyes can EASILY be removed with a razor blade. Just slide it along the surface the stitching pops right off. And yes, they did have cat eye material on some helmet bands and headgear in the 60's and even earlier, this isn't some post war only fantasy. This is the CORRECT helmet band. Learn More
