M-1 Helmet Chinstrap, Type I (Infantry). This is the standard chinstrap for infantry helmets from the Vietnam War. These are right out of issue boxes, most boxes were 65 / 66 dated, some later 60's. There may be some slight variation in hardware markings based on inventory (anchor, P, or unmarked) but all are period correct and USGI. 1.5oz
