WWII era shell. This is a nice original M1 Helmet Shell. Steel Pot has original texture and has been repainted. Helmet shell is a rear seam, flexible bale and has original OD#3 (khaki) chinstraps sewn on to the shell. The chinstraps are the mid war style and appear to be original to the helmet or at least a period replacement.
