We have 4 complete sets available. Each set is matched fairly well for wear, insignia etc. Sets are original 3rd Pattern R/S with the coats size Small Long and the pants in size Small Regular. The sets show wear and fading / use but no major damage. Zippers and buttons work. Each pair of trousers has the name tape over the right hip pocket in the typical NAVY style. Each jungle coat has US NAVY, NELSON tape, SEAL Trident and Subdued O-5 insignia (Commander). These uniforms are from later in his career based on the rank, but Commander Nelson graduated from the US Naval Academy at Annapolis in 1971 and served on SEAL TEAM 1 in the early to mid 70's (Oct 72 to Dec 76) (photo of a 1972 dated training binder shown that was in his gear but not included). Priced per uniform set: 1 coat and 1 pair of trousers. We do have 1 extra set of Nelson Trousers without a jungle coat.
Buyer will receive a PDF document that I put together covering the owner's US Navy career. The bio packet includes his Naval Academy Diploma, Commission in the Navy, Promotion to Commander while in Naval Special Warfare Unit Two, ID while serving in the Middle East, a great team pic in boats, and best of all, his hand written application to be a Foreign Service Officer after his retirement. This document has page after page where he outlines his entire career in the Navy to bolster his application as a Foreign Service Officer.
