Reproduction 3rd Pattern OG-107 Sateen Fatigue Shirt. These are the classic OG-107's seen throughout second half of the Vietnam War and so often seen in stateside use after the war. This style would be used up into the mid 1970's until they were replaced with the 50/50 poly cotton "Dura-Press" OG's. Shirts feature custom milled 8.5 ounce cotton, BDU style buttons, button cuff at the wrist and exact spec tags. These were originally made / measured by neck size and and sleeve length vs S, M, L, etc. We have made them in "regular" length as it is just not practical for us to stock an entire range of sizes. Some of the neck sizes do not correlate well with chest sizes and we have found that a lot of people do not know their dress shirt size, so we are going to stick with a S, M, L with cross reference to chest size based structure for inventory purposes. This seems to work well for most customers and ensures most get the right fit to start.
The 3rd Model OG-107 shirts were specified and approved well before they actually began to appear in units but by 1966, they were in high production and commonly seen with units in the field both stateside and in Vietnam. The construction does not really differ from the earlier style of OG-107 shirts other than the change to the shape of the pocket flap from straight to scalloped and the addition of a button cuff at the wrist as well as the change to the BDU style buttons.
