Paraglider / Para-Glide Round, Officer, Merrowed. This is the standard insignia worn on overseas caps (envelope style) for Paratroopers from the about 1967 through the 1980's. The merrowed edge version slowly replaced the cut edge (also available). Officer is worn on the right side of the cap with the glider facing forward. Rank is worn on the left side of the cap.
