After years of putting these uniforms together, we have finally decided to list them as their own item. This is the classic uniform for Lt. Col. Kilgore from Apocalypse Now. If you have ever felt the need to state your love for the smell of napalm in the morning, this is your chance!
SEE BELOW IN BOLD FOR DETAILS: The package includes reproduction 2nd pattern (poplin) jungle fatigue coat and pants (in the stills you can see side take up tabs and the button for the gas flap. This means he either has a 2nd model coat with epaulettes removed or a very rare transitional coat that never had the epaulettes. So either a 2nd or 3rd can be used for this impression). Package also includes a brass buckle trouser belt and the following subdued insignia: Pin-On Lt. As per originals, our Poplin Jungles are true in pant size and oversized on the coats to allow for a baggy fit. On the pants, all regular inseams are 33" and actual waist sizes are: S (31) M (35) L (39) XL (43). On the jungle coats, the actual chest measurements are: S (42) M (46) L (50) XL (54). These are unwashed so will have some minor shrinkage and are meant to be worn slightly loose for a proper fit.

Jungle Boots, Reproduction. These are new made jungle boots by Rothco with panama soles, green canvas uppers and black leather. Overall they look pretty good, but they will not have the durability of USGI boots. That being said, they are perfect for reenacting. Available in whole sizes only. Imported.

Reproduction 3rd Pattern R/S Jungle Fatigue Coat, Economy. We have decided to offer these as an "economy" option. These fatigues are mass produced by Rothco and are Vietnam styled, with slant pockets, etc. but they lack specific details such as drain holes, inner pockets, correct tags, etc. Because of their off the shelf fabric, lack of specific details and their production numbers, we can offer them at a reduced rate. Fatigues are 100% cotton ripstop and have been "pre-aged" so they appear to be faded and are lighter than their photo above. If you want an exact copy of original jungle fatigues, I would strongly recommend some of our in-house fatigues as listed above. If you need a less expensive set for airsoft, paintball, stage productions, etc. or if you need a pair outside of the size range that we make, these may be for you. They are okay for the field at most reenactments and should pass the "15 foot rule." Learn More
