  • Armor, Body Fragmentation Protective, with 3/4 Collar. We have a good selection of 3/4 Collar vests right now. We have the "Classic" Armor, Body Fragmentation Protective, with 3/4 Collar. The Classic 3/4 Collar Flak features a zipper front closure and snap flap to cover the zipper. We also have some of the "improved" Armor, Body Fragmentation Protective, with 3/4 Collar M69. The M69 is the final variant of the 3/4 Collar Flak Vests that came out in 1970 featuring a velcro chest closure to eliminate zipper failures and complications removing the vest from wounded soldiers. They also improved the internal armor batting to prevent bunching inside the vest. VG to VG+ shows some use and fading with no major damage. All zippers and snaps work and these are solid, useable vests. EXC condition shows minimal wear, has all labels etc. EXC + is essentially unissued with possibly minor storage wear. • We found a small stash of M-1952A / M-52 Flak vests in size small, medium and large. We have one vest in each size. Dates and conditions vary and are outlined below. Small: The small is 1953 dated and in overall EXC- condition with nice color, no damage and free from any major defect. There is a new set of side laces included in the chest pocket. This is a nice looking flak. Medium: The medium is 1954 dated and in overall VG condition showing use and some soiling. There is red discoloration around the zipper and on the underside of the closure flap. This is from the zipper itself over time reacting with the nylon. You cannot see the discoloration when the flap is closed. There is a new set of side laces included in the chest pocket. Large: The Large is 1954 dated and in overall VG condition showing use and some soiling, but less than the medium. There is also some red discoloration around the zipper and on the underside of the closure flap. This is from the zipper itself over time reacting with the nylon. You cannot see the discoloration when the flap is closed. Again it is less than the medium. There is a small hole in the nylon on the back left side where it meets the zipper lace webbing snf there is a new set of side laces installed. The epaulette buttons were missing and we have included two original replacements with the vest - see photo (check the chest pocket). Overall this is a pretty nice vest and larges are extremely tough to find! Learn More

  • M-1 Helmet Complete, Reenactor: This helmet features an original steel M-1 helmet shell in G to VG condition with correct Vietnam era chinstraps. Helmet liners are late war to immediate post war in VG+ to EXC condition from the mid 1970's to early 80's. Most of the liners that we use are the earlier style removable that have / had paper labels (many are missing), some are the ink stamped liners from the early 80's. It just depends on availability. While the liner shells are 70's era, most of the removable suspensions will be 80's dated as we have replaced the used suspensions with unissued webbing so you get a nice, strong, clean suspenion that will work well. Unissed post war nape strap is included and the sweatbands are a mix of DSA and DLA dated USGI in EXC used that have been cleaned and reconditioned or unissued post war dated. Complete with new reproduction Mitchell Cover and elastic helmet band (or USMC Inner tube band). The perfect reenacting helmet. The only structural difference between this helmet and the other listed below is the liner hardware. A mid 70's / 80's era liner suspension has round hardware (removable suspension) as opposed to the A shaped internal washers (fixed suspension) found in a VN era liner. Once the sweatband is in place, it is difficult to see the suspension hardware. Based on this, it is the perfect reenacting helmet for those on a budget, or for those who do not want to tear up a collectible liner. Learn More
