  • "Hollywood" M-16 Blank Adapter (BFA) for M16 / AR15 Rifles. These are "Hollywood" BFAs and cannot be seen when installed. Simply remove the flash hider and drop in the adapter with the narrow end facing the out towards the end of the flash hider and the broad end against the base of the muzzle. Blank adapters are machined from cold rolled 1018 steel for durability. Priced per BFA. We make three different sizes for these blank adapters: USGI blanks and Euro NATO surplus are the weakest blanks and use the smallest aperture. LAM blanks are a "mid-grade" blank with a loud retort, but not as loud and not as much flash as the Swanson Hot blanks. SWANSON HOT blanks are the loudest / strongest blanks on the market. USGI - for M200/M200A1 blanks (0.080) LAM - for Atlantic Wall "LAM" mid-power blanks (0.125) HOT - for Swanson's Motion Picture Blanks (0.175) CHECK FIRED BRASS FOR DAMAGE. IF THE BRASS IS MANGLED, THE APERTURE IS TOO TIGHT AND NEEDS TO BE OPENED. IF YOU ARE UNSURE, ASK THE MANUFACTURER OF YOUR BLANKS WHAT SIZE HOLE HE RECOMMENDS! FAILURE TO USE THE CORRECT DIAMETER HOLE CAN RESULT IN SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY AND / OR DAMAGE TO YOUR RIFLE! Learn More

  • "Hollywood" M-14 Blank Adapter (BFA) for M14 / M1A Rifles. These are "Hollywood" BFAs and cannot be seen when installed. Simply loosen the set screw on the front of the site base, remove the castle nut, remove the flashider, inset the adapter into the flashider (narrow end out) and reassemble. Priced per BFA, flashider not included. Blank adapters are machined from cold rolled 1018 steel for durability. All of our M14 BFA's come with the "starter" stock aperture size of 0.110 which should work in most rifles with the weaker Austrian L31A1 blanks. It will also work as a pilot hole to drill them out for more powerful blank loads (primarily European military .308 blanks or USGI Blanks). It is important to note that even though they use same nomenclature designation, there can be a difference in power based on country of origin. For example, British Radway Green L31A1 blanks (head stamp RG) are hotter than Austrian L31A1 (head stamp HP). For most blanks, you will need to enlarge the hole. Below are some rough guidelines for sizes that we have found to work. This is very important! Guidelines for Drilling Out Blank Adapters: Swanson (.187) USGI Blanks (.171) Radway L31A1 Blanks (.136) Austrian L31A1 Blanks (.110) *These sizes work in both semi and full auto in a USGI H&R M14. They may take some tweaking for your rifle. Speak with the manufacturer of your blanks to get a ballpark starting range! This information is included as a guide. We are not responsible for damaged weapons or body parts! CHECK FIRED BRASS FOR DAMAGE. IF THE BRASS IS MANGLED, THE APERTURE IS TOO TIGHT AND NEEDS TO BE OPENED. IF YOU ARE UNSURE, ASK THE MANUFACTURER OF YOUR BLANKS WHAT SIZE HOLE HE RECOMMENDS! Holster manufacturer on back may vary depending on availability, but they are all marked and have the government contract number. These are all "real" USGI holsters. Hard to find real holsters and you can't beat the quality! Holsters are in unissued condition. Because these are New Old Stock, you need to exercise care when first opening the holster. The leather is tight and dry and if you just pull on the flap, you WILL pull out the male press stud and ruin the holster. You need to gently work the flap the first couple of times and it is even better if you condition the leather and then use care opening. Once they have been used, there is no problem. Learn More

  • AK-47 Blank Firing Adapter (BFA). These are BFA's for the AK-47 in 7.62x39. BFA is predrilled to work with many surplus blanks / guns, however some rifles / blank combinations require more gas pressure. Styles vary based on availability, but all can be made to work with just about any surplus style AK rifle with a threaded barrel. The smooth body BFA have an opening of .250, the fully knurled tend to run about .205 and the smooth with knurled top around .180. If you have difficulties with a BFA, you can place a thin washer with a smaller hole (it must have a hole to relieve back pressure) inside the BFA before installing. Changing washers / disks gives you the ability to fine tune your rifle. As a starting point, try .180 as this should make any riifle work. If the brass is hevily deformed, work up to a .205 hole and see if it will still cycle without deforming the brass. Most rifles will work best in this range. To install, simply remove the muzzle device currently on your AK and thread on. Overall condition is excellent used. The style may vary slightly based on country of manufacture and availability. BFA's can easily be painted. Price is per piece. Currently we have the smooth body with the .250 starting hole. Learn More
